For the past 2 years I have been in the Red-Zone Program. This Program takes place after school in the library and in it you can do your school work. If you stay long enough for 3/5 days a week, the program will grant you a membership for McDermont Field House.
Migrant Program
This program helps students whose parents work out of state every year in the fields. The program aids the students by giving them school supplies and invites them on a variety of field trips ranging from in-state trips to trips out of state.
LHS Soccer
I have played for both JV and Varsity teams. The years where I played with my classmates were the best to me as they were exciting, and fun. This current season was unbelievable. We became Valley Champions as we won Arvin High School in an intense away game. That night we left everything on the pitch. Blood, sweat, and tears.
LHS Tennis
I played Tennis my Junior year and it was a blast. It was great trying something different out of my comfort-zone. At the beginning of the season I didn't know the basics of tennis. But at the end of the season i got the hang of it and became quite good at it.
Free Time
On my free time after school, I like to go with my friends to the local park and play some sports. Basketball, football, and soccer are on our list of top sports. Some days when this is not possible to do, I try to find some time for myself and relax.
